That’s the word from Joe, who admitted in an interview that he’s warm to the idea of a family get-together. Just don’t hold your breath on it happening anytime soon.
When asked if the band might ever reform, Joe told Pride Source: “I would say so. Nick and I have a few ideas to work with other artists who we really like. There are a couple of artists out there that we think are really incredible that we’d like to work together with. And then, there’s always down the road. We don’t really ever wanna say never to anything just because there could be something that comes along our way that we might say, ‘You know, let’s try working on this song together.’ It’s tough to say that we’ll never do it because who knows.”
The siblings’ Joe, Nick and Kevin emerged in 2005 and came up with a golden generation of Disney Channel babies that included Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. The bros announced their split back in October 2013,
And what would get the band back together? “Time itself,” apparently. Joe added, “Seeing where things will lead us. It’s easy to say we’re done and that we’re never doing it again, but then we both look at each other and go, ‘We obviously get along.’ And who knows – years from now we could be like, ‘All right, let’s make a record.’ It could easily happen.”
Nick played a medley of his biggest solo hits at the American Music Awards last weekend: “Chains” (No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100), “Levels” (No. 44) and “Jealous” (No. 7).
