John Legend Gets Swimming Lesson From Olympian Ryan Lochte: ‘Getting Him Ready for 2020 Olympics!’

John Legend is a man of many talents, but swimming appears to be the one area where the 40-year-old needs improvement.

Back in January, Legend tweeted, “I can’t really swim. Today I took my first swim lesson since I was like 5.”

The post went viral, as many fans, athletes and nonprofit organizations offered to aid his swimming journey.

It appears Legend has found his swimming instructor in United States Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte. On Monday, the pair took to the pool, sharing a video on the Olympian’s Instagram page of the duo practicing a freestyle stroke.
