Wednesday night’s (July 15) ESPY awards featured a few rather unlikely couples — there was noted Red Sox fan Ben Affleck presenting (lifelong Yankee) Derek Jeter with the Icon Award, Ciara almost presenting an award to the Patriots, and none other than Britney Spears joining forces with Texans defensive end J.J. Watt to present the award for Best Female Athlete.

“Aw J.J., that’s so sweet,” Britney replied. “Did it make you want to put some huge hits on opposing quarterbacks?”
