Jess Glynne shot into our hearts and our Spotify playlists as the featured vocalist on Clean Bandit‘s “Rather Be,” but the redheaded singer/songwriter has proven her solo skills since: Her album I Cry When I Laugh debuted at No. 25 on the Billboard 200 chart and the single “Hold My Hand” was a Billboard Hot 100 hit.
On Friday (Oct. 30), the 26-year-old singer premiered the steamy video for her song “Take Me Home.” The video features a naked Glynne as she sings to the camera and curls up in a chair. The modest nudity adds to the vulnerable feeling of both the song and video.
Glynne captioned the post on her Facebook page with “Finally… I can show you all the video for Take Me Home – I’m so pleased and nervous that it’s finally out. This is a song about the need to have someone who cares when you are at your most vulnerable. It’s an emotional song for me and I have to admit it brought me to tears filming the video, not because I was sad but because I was so grateful that I had someone to get me out of the dark hole I was in xxx”
