In between working on the pop albums that always wind up dominating year-end best-of lists, Jack Antonoff is continuously finding time to stay prolific with his own band. The New Jersey native recently hinted via Twitter that Bleachers‘ LP3 was in the works, and on Thursday (April 18), we got some photographic evidence.
Antonoff shared a trio of workspace pics over Instagram, along with the caption, “new bleachers album being written / made in these spaces.”
The first shot shows Antonoff’s laptop in the middle of a Pro Tools session, with heaps of Magic: The Gathering cards nearby and a photo of John F. Kennedy in the distance. The second features JFK again, this time with an old 1963 memorial LP perched atop a piano. And the third is a more typical studio shot.
Gone Now, the last Bleachers album, dropped in June 2017 on RCA.
As for his other projects, Antonoff co-wrote and co-produced a pair of tracks expected to appear on Lana Del Rey‘s hotly hyped forthcoming studio album. And another popular artist he’s worked with before is supposedly releasing something soon…
As for the new Bleachers, check the pics below.
