In less than a month since Harry Styles dropped his debut solo single “Sign of the Times,” the former One Direction singer has already blessed us with three songs from his forthcoming self-titled album. And to no one’s surprise, they’re all incredible.
After “Sign of the Times” had people thinking Styles may go a more classic-rock, David Bowie-esque route, he premiered the softer, more guitar-based “Ever Since New York” on Saturday Night Live a week after the single’s release. But then he took things to an almost entirely acoustic level, releasing “Sweet Creature” on Tuesday (May 2).
While all three certainly sound like Harry, they also show his versatility and hint that we’ll be seeing some serious variety on his first solo album.
