Harry Styles‘ highly-anticipated sophomore album is finally here. Fine Line dropped just after midnight on Friday (Dec. 13).
Fine Line follows his 2017 self-titled debut, and while it still has the same retro feel as the first record, Styles takes on a brighter, younger perspective to his characteristic psychedelic rock/pop. The album features previously released singles “Adore You,” “Watermelon Sugar” and “Lights Up,” which debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Styles recently told Rolling Stone that the album is “all about having sex and feeling sad,” but the melancholy breakup songs are balanced with fresh, catchy melodies.
The crooner celebrated the album’s release with a show at the Forum in Los Angeles, where he performed the album in full.
