Teens all over the world are freaking out because — and I hope you’re sitting down for this — Harry Styles, member of One Direction, has gone and cut off his long locks.
The evidence? Styles posted a photo on Instagram of himself holding his chopped ponytail (“whoops”), while giving the camera a thumbs up. In a true that’s-what-makes-you-beautiful twist, the reason Styles is now rocking a cropped look is because he’s donating his hair to Little Princess Trust, a U.K.-based charity that provides wigs for children who’ve lost their hair to cancer treatments.
As expected, #RIPHarrysHair became the top trending topic on Twitter Friday afternoon (May 6), with fans remembering the good times they shared with Harry’s long hair (i.e staring at it in concert). A photo of Styles rocking his new do has yet to emerge, but fans are already confident it’s perfect.
