Drop everything, Stylers, because we just found your post-holiday plans. Harry Styles took the stage at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball 2019 in London earlier this month, and now fans can watch the entire set on YouTube.
Clad in a glittering navy jumpsuit unbuttoned nearly to his navel, Styles kicked off his performance with Fine Line-era lead single “Lights Up” before crooning his way through romantic follow-up “Adore You,” “Sign of the Times,” and “Watermelon Sugar.” To close out the set, the former boybander took it all the way back to the beginning of his One Direction days with a ’70s-inspired solo rendition of the group’s debut 2011 single, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
“I’d just like to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything that all of you have done since this song came out. You’ve changed my life and that’s all I can say to you, thank you so much. If you know the words to this one, please do sing along,” he told the screaming crowd before launching into the smash hit.
While Styles performed a number of tracks from his sophomore studio set, Fine Line, the performance came just a few days before the album was released, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and notching the third-biggest sales week of the year in the U.S. with 478,000 equivalent album units.
