Halsey’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom has had a banner year since its release on June 2, 2017, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The RIAA’s “platinum” designation is equal to: one album sale, 10 tracks sold from an album or 1,500 on-demand audio and/or video streams from an album. A 2016 revamp of the RIAA’s Gold & Platinum Awards Program grew it from a pure album sales certification process to one that includes tracks and streams.
Hopeless Fountain Kingdom has spawned the hits “Bad at Love” and “Alone,” featuring Big Sean and Stefflon Don.
