The rising musical couple G-Eazy and Halsey appeared on stage together again Tuesday morning (Dec. 19), this time on Good Morning America. The duo performed their new collaborative single, “Him & I,” which debuted at an impressive No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week (chart dated Dec. 23).
Halsey, apparently injuring herself before the show, appeared with a black cast on her right foot. Usually an eccentric stage presence, the New Jersey native remained stationary for most of the performance because of it.
A slew of tweets from the alt-pop star alluded to a broken foot last night (Dec. 18). “Mood is me saying ‘break a leg’ to @FifthHarmony last night and then being in the hospital getting a foot x Ray 35 minutes later,” she tweeted.
In response to a fan encouraging her to “walk it off,” Halsey also tweeted, “I’m not sure you can walk off a broken foot.” Regardless of the injury, the “Bad At Love” artist seemed to enjoy herself, also tweeting her excitement at being able to play for Good Morning America.
