First Daughter Ivanka Trump posted a snap with her two year-old son Theodore on Sunday morning (May 27), in which both are in their pajamas staring into each other’s eyes with the caption, “My

The innocent photo of the mother and son drew backlash from Halsey, though, who responded with a sharp rebuke tied to the news over the weekend that an official in the Department of Hearth and Human services testified during a Senate subcommittee meeting last month that the Trump administration had somehow lost track of of nearly 1,500 unaccompanied immigrant children it had placed in the homes of sponsors.

While some supporters told haters to back off and let Ivanka have a moment with her child, a large number weighed in with sentiments similar to Halsey’s. See some of the reactions below.
