What you waiting for? Gwen Stefani announced on Monday (Nov. 18) that a 15th anniversary edition of her debut solo album Love.Angel.Music.Baby. is on the way.
Inspired by 1980s new wave pop and the culture and style of Tokyo’s fashionable Harajuku district, Love.Angel.Music.Baby. peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, giving birth to six singles including “What You Waiting For?,” “Rich Girl,” “Cool” and No. 1 hit “Hollaback Girl.”
The smash 2004 LP was eventually certified 5x plantinum by the RIAA and was also nominated for a pair of Grammys — including album of the year — at the 48th annual Grammy Awards in 2006.
To promote the limited edition release, Stefani is set to perform a medley of songs from the album on the Nov. 26 episode of The Voice. Plus, there’s merch!
The digitally remastered 15th anniversary edition of Love.Angel.Music.Baby. will be released Friday (Nov. 22) via Interscope Records.
