Grimes announced that she will be releasing new music on Thursday (Nov. 29) after launching a new web store with merchandise including t-shirts, stickers and more.
The 30-year-old singer took to Instagram to share photos of her new merch and cryptic art that includes female aliens, water droplets and red letters. “New web store and merch finally haha” she captioned one of the posts.
The new music comes three years after 2015’s Art Angels, which included popular tracks “Kill V. Maim,” “Artangels,” and “Flesh Without Blood.” In May, she shared an Instagram story with what appeared to be the potential tracklist for an upcoming album with the caption “working titlez,” keeping fans guessing all summer about when they might hear the new tunes.
She also collaborated with Poppy on the fun-and-gritty “Play Destroy” track, which appears on Poppy’s Am I A Girl? album.
