Simon Cowell’s charity fundraising single for the victims of the Grenfell Tower, an all-star cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s iconic “Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” dropped on Wednesday morning (June 21) and it features more than 50 artists. Among those contributing a line or two to the moving rendition of the 1970 ballad are: Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Rita Ora, Emile Sandé, Craig David, Bastille, Labrinth, Leona Lewis, Jessie J, James Arthur, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, Brian May, Dua Lipa, Geri Halliwell, Nile Rodgers, Stormzy and Pixie Lott, among many others.
The 300-person choir on the Artists for Grenfell single features residents and survivors of last Wednesday’s (June 14) fire, which killed at least 79 people and injured dozens of others. Click here to purchase the single on iTunes and here to donate to the charity.
Thank you to everyone for their help and support in making this happen.
