Halsey shared a haunting acoustic version of her latest single “Graveyard” on Tuesday (Nov. 12) with an accompanying music video.
Recorded live in Nashville, the clip finds the pop star awash in rosy light as she performs the emotive track surrounded by flickering votive candles, fake roses and a variety of antique lamps. “They say I may be making a mistake/ I would’ve followed all the way, no matter how far/ I know when you go down all your darkest roads/ I would have followed all the way to the graveyard,” she sings with eyes closed, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar.
“Graveyard” serves as the second single off Halsey’s forthcoming third studio album, Manic, which is set to be released on Jan. 17, 2020. The tune follows the singer’s first solo No. 1 hit “Without Me” and “Nightmare,” which was originally planned to be included on the upcoming LP but was later diverted as a standalone single.
