
While in the studio with Echosmith‘s manager Jeffery David, Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke sat down with the family band’s frontwoman Sydney Sierota to cover Cyndi Lauper‘s “Time After Time.”
With David on the piano, the two singers performed a harmonious, stripped-down version of the 1983 pop song. Sierota’s studio time follows Echosmith’s first-ever performance at Coachella, which wrapped up this past weekend.

Brooke posted a video of the duo singing the song’s chorus on her Instagram, which you can watch below:
On Twitter, Brooke’s fellow Fifth Harmony bandmates showed their support for the singer by reposting and praising the performance. “Das my baby,” wrote Normani Kordei. “Get it gurrrrrrrl,” Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello chimed in.

Whether Brooke was in the studio recording with Echosmith or just enjoying messing around on a weekend is unclear, but either way, her bandmates definitely have her back.
