From 2014’s haunting jam “Ghost” to the just-released fierce feminist rocker “Nightmare,” Halsey has served up as many different vocal sounds as ever-changing hairstyles. The pop rulebreaker has been all over the amp since her debut as a solo artist more than five years ago. She went anthemic with the strident “New Americana,” added some EDM touches to “Now or Never” and “Eastside,” dropped some future R&B with “Bad at Love,” took a dark turn with the rap-tinged “Him & I” with G-Eazy and served up pure pop drama on “Without Me.”
In between, she hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the Chainsmokers‘ “Closer” (and her own “Without Me”) and jumped back into the top 10 with BTS‘ “Boy With Luv.” If we’re being honest, we love them all — but which Halsey song is your all-time favorite?
