Stormzy wrapped up a sold-out three-night run at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday night (May 4), and he made sure to make his finale grand. The grime singer had Ed Sheeran join him for their remix of the British singer-songwriter’s chart-topping hit “Shape of You.”
Marking the first time the two have taken the stage together since their performance at the Brit Awards in February, Stormzy and Sheeran both dominated the O2 stage as the crowd excitedly sang along. That wasn’t the only thrilling point of the night for Stormzy fans, though, as he also brought out fellow British rappers Ghetts, Chip and Wretch 32.
Sheeran is in the middle of his own tour, coincidentally also wrapping up a three-night stand at The O2 Arena in London the night before his appearance with Stormzy. He’ll continue his Divide tour with a South American leg beginning in Lima, Peru, on May 13 and will hit North America starting in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 29.
