You might be wondering to yourself: Is that really Ed Sheeran singing in Italian on his version of “Perfect” featuring Andrea Bocelli?
It is! The English singer is, indeed, serenading a lover in Italian in the second verse of the newly released orchestral version of the song. If you don’t like it, no worries: There are now three versions of the song you can listen to.
First, there’s the album version, off of ÷ (Divide), which just features Sheeran and his electric guitar. Then, there is the acoustic duet version featuring Beyoncé. Finally, there is the orchestral arrangement, featuring Italian singer Andrea Bocelli.
Who knows what compelled Ed to make so many versions of the same song, but the Beyoncé version currently tops the Billboard Hot 100, so he’s doing something right.
If you are particularly passionate about one of these versions, be sure to cast your vote and tell us which one you think is, well, perfect.
