Ed Sheeran may not need to rely on carpooling anymore — the 24-year-old crooner just passed his driving test earlier this week (Oct. 29).

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Sheeran passed his practical exam just three months after taking the written “theory” portion of the test. Total Driving in Ipswich, Suffolk, where Sheeran took the test, even praised his driving on Facebook with a post that said, “Congratulations to Ed S who passed his car test with us in Ipswich this afternoon. Good effort Ed!!!”
Getting his license has been a long-time dream for Sheeran, who’s been publicly lamenting his (literally) pedestrian lifestyle for sometime now:
