Hitmakers Ed Sheeran and DJ Khaled have both made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the past year. Sheeran came out on top with his single “Perfect” back in December, whereas Khaled’s star-studded “I’m the One” reigned supreme last May. Now, the artists’ respective hits have achieved yet another milestone: They’ve each racked up 1 billion views for their videos on YouTube.
“Perfect” is the third video of Sheeran’s to accrue 1 billion views on the streaming platform. The creative visuals for “Thinking Out Loud” and “Shape of You” — another No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 chart for Sheeran — previously reached the landmark.
Khaled’s “I’m the One,” which features the all-star lineup of Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne stunting at a beachfront mansion, is his first video to reach the billion mark.
