2018 seems to be the year of the swimsuit for Demi Lovato, who has posted photos of herself in another one-piece on Instagram.
The singer showed off her body confidence in a pineapple swimsuit, accessorized with blue sunglasses and wet hair, Sunday evening (Jan. 7). The day before, she shared a closeup shot that showed off her freckles.
“Wishing there was an emoji for freckles,” she commented.

The photos represent a positive step for Lovato, who’s previously opened up about her struggle with an eating disorder and body image issues. Earlier in the week, she wrote, “this year I’ve decided I’m letting go of my perfectionism and embracing freedom from self criticism. Learning to love my body the way it is is challenging but life changing. Giving up my eating disorder has been the most challenging journey of my life but I work every day towards solid recovery even if I mess up sometimes.”
