Demi Lovato sat front row at Chapman University in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 8) as she cheered on little sister Madison De La Garza during her high school graduation.
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer shared parts of the event on her Instagram stories, including her sister walking to the stage to receive her diploma and her class throwing their caps in the air. Lovato cheered, “Yeah baby girl!” with pure affection.
The celebration continued with a “proud sister moment” as the singer took snaps of her sis holding her personalized graduation cap.
Garza also took to Twitter to post an emotional video of her emotional reaction to flipping her tassle, with the caption: “i’m still in shock. my popo surprised me and flew out all the way from texas to see me graduate — he hasn’t been back in LA for over 60 years. i’ve never felt so loved and so blessed.”
