Demi Lovato‘s new single is nearly here: the pop star confirmed on Thursday (June 25) that the track is called “Cool For The Summer” and will be out on July 1.

The forthcoming single represents the first new music for Lovato since she wrapped the campaign behind 2013’s Demi. Billboard has heard “Cool For The Summer,” and while we’re not allowed to say anything about the song, please believe that it will be worth the six-day wait.
In the meantime, Lovato has announced that she is releasing a new, as-yet-untitled mobile game later this summer. The “choose your own adventure” game will allow fans to follow a virtual Demi backstage on tour as they build their own music careers.
