Chinese pop star G.E.M. revealed in a recent interview with InStyle that she’ll be recording a song with Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne and Ashley Tisdale. Wait, it gets even stranger — the song is penned by Fall Out Boy.
That may sound like an unlikely group (because it is), but what they all have in common is that they’re a part of the Prince Charming-centric film Charming — slated for a 2016 release.
G.E.M. will voice Sleeping Beauty, Ashley Tisdale will voice Cinderella, Demi Lovato will voice a character named Lenore, and Avril Lavigne will voice the classic Snow White.
Lavigne, who has recently opened up about her battle with Lyme disease, took to Instagram this week to share a health update with her followers.
“This journey continues ….. Just reach up, don’t give up until you’ve touch the sky ….. We were all meant to fly …. #DrOfficePhotoShoot @Hurley @amusesociety,” Lavigne wrote in the caption for the photo below.
A caption for a separate photo, which shows 13 vials of blood, read: “On my way to good health #TakingCareOfMyself #FuckLymeDisease.”
