Singer-songwriter Christina Perri has long been penning hits about heartbreak like “Jar of Hearts,” but it’s unlikely that we’ll be hearing any sad songs from her for a while — the 30-year-old announced on Wednesday (June 21) that she’s engaged.
Perri announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Paul Costabile on Instagram. She was happy to share the news with fans and posted a photo of her new ring to make the announcement.

Costabile, who is an on-air host for The Hollywood Reporter, also took to Instagram to share the news, telling the tale of how they met. “I knew I wanted to ask his girl to marry me the day she walked into the green screen for an interview almost 4 years ago.”
