Christina Aguilera will premiere her third single from Liberation on Wednesday (May 16), a collaboration with Demi Lovato titled “Fall in Line.” Ahead of the release, the pair have teased the song on Twitter by sharing one of the verses and adorable photos of themselves as little girls.
The photos serve as a reminder that Aguilera and Lovato have been in the game for a while, with both of them getting their start as child performers in talent shows and television programs. The images also speak directly to the lyrics as an ode to their inner children.
“Little girls/Listen closely ‘cause no one told me/But you deserve to know/That in this world/You are not beholden/ You do not owe them/ Your body and your soul,” the caption reads.
“Fall in Line” will premiere Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. ET, and Aguilera and Lovato will debut the song live at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20.
