Shortly before the end of Sunday Night’s 60th Annual Grammy Awards, Lip Sync Battle co-host Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram to share some exciting baby news – she is expecting a little boy!
She and husband John Legend are already parents to their almost 2-year-old daughter Luna and the soon-to-be mom of two posted an image of herself on the Grammy’s red carpet with one hand on her stomach and a short but sweet caption that read “mama and her baby boy.”
Adding a little boy to their expanding family didn’t come as a big surprise to many since back in early 2017 Teigen revealed that a little boy was in the cards for her and Legend. When asked about having more kids on the red carpet at the 28th Annual Producers Guild Awards, Teigen laughed and shared “A little boy is next, for sure.”
Fans of Teigen and her musical husband speculated that the model was already pregnant to which she took to Twitter to share “Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah.”
Like their adorable little Luna, the new baby was conceived with the help of in vitro fertilization and is due later this year. Teigen announced her second pregnancy in November with a video of her daughter, Luna feeling her mom’s stomach and cooing “baby” in an adorable Instagram post.
