After Chloe Campbell released her track “Sick” back in October, the 17-year-old singer is back with the visuals for the song, premiering today (June 23) exclusively on Billboard.
In the video, the singer reflects on a broken relationship while texting back and forth with an ex that can’t decide to make up or let go. The camera then pans to solo shots of the blue-haired songstress.
“I love the concept of the video because we’ve all been in that relatable situation when you have a relationship that’s going sour and you’re just over it,” Campbell tells Billboard. “‘Sick’ is the anthem of making the decision to move on and having the courage and confidence to do so.”
The Zoltan-produced record features co-production by Chris “Tek” O’Ryan. Chloe previously told Billboard she hopes listeners will relate to the message in the lyrics saying, “I want the audience to be able to hear their own lives in my lyrics and my performance.”
Aside from her work on the buzzy song, the 17-year old Bahamian singer was in the studio with DJ Frank Walker, with her project being executive produced by Switch.
