Cher Lloyd released her first solo song since 2016, “None Of My Business,” on Friday (Oct. 19). The single follows Lloyd’s June collaboration with Swedish producer Joakim Molitor, “4U.”
The catchy single sees Lloyd more confident than ever, as the lyrics have her talking down to an ex-lover.
Lloyd dismisses her ex’s problems with his new girl with an infectious chorus. “Damn, I heard that you and her been having issues/I wish you the best, I hope that she can fix you/You’ll be calling me the second that it hits you,” she sings, before detaching herself from the situation, punctuating her lack of involvement with a simple, “But baby, this is none of my business.”
The single comes after Lloyd announced her recent signing with Universal Music Group in September.
