Cher stopped by the Season 28 finale of Dancing With the Stars on Monday night (Nov. 25) to grace the ABC studio with her classic song “The Beat Goes On.”
Surrounded by dancers dressed in costumes straight out of the ’60s, Cher emerged wearing a sparkly magenta top, striped bell bottoms, teal faux fur vest and a giant ankh necklace. During the dance-heavy performance of the 1967 hit, the 73-year-old icon duetted with late husband Sonny Bono using old video footage of the pair.
“Charleston was once the rage, uh huh/ History has turned the page, uh huh/ Miniskirt’s the current thing, uh huh/ Teenybopper is our newborn king, uh huh,” Cher belted out, trading lines with Sonny as she launched into some serious arm-ography with the backup dancers.
Following the superstar’s appearance, former Bachelorette Hannah Brown was crowned the season’s winner, beating out runner-ups Kel Mitchell, Ally Brooke and Lauren Alaina.
