Last month, pop powerhouse Lady Gaga announced she would begin a Las Vegas residency starting in December 2018. One person who has a ton of experience with Vegas performances is Celine Dion, who continues her current Vegas residency in 2018. But Dion made it clear that she has no advice to give to Lady Gaga.
Dion appeared on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, where she was asked if she had any advice for Lady Gaga. “Do I have advice for Lady Gaga? No!” she said.
She continued: “First of all, this girl knows exactly what she’s doing. She knows what to do. And I will never, ever, ever, in my whole life tell somebody professional, super talented like she is how to do things. I’m going to go see her show. When is she starting?”
Cohen and Cooper then asked if she would be open to a possible duet with Lady Gaga. Dion responded, “Oh don’t get me started now. I would love that. I love her so much,” She said. “I can’t wait. Come on, Lady Gaga, we’re waiting for you!”
Dion then went on to perform “Because You Loved Me” before ringing in the New Year.
