Katy Perry announced the birth of her daughter Daisy on Thursday (Aug. 27), and celebs are pouring into the pop star’s comments section on social media to celebrate the joyful occasion.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the singer and fiancé Orlando Bloom announced to UNICEF in a touching Instagram post revealing baby Daisy’s tiny hand clasped in her mom’s.
“Congratulations, @katyperry and @orlandobloom—and thank you for speaking up for maternal health. Wishing you and your new family all the joy in the world,” commented Hillary Clinton using a sweet daisy emoji, while Noah Cyrus wrote, “I am sooo happy for youuuu.”

Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr, with whom he shares son Flynn, also reacted to the news, writing, “I’m so happy for you guys. Can’t wait to meet her,” surrounded by a series of sparkling heart, rainbow and praying hands emojis.
Meanwhile, Lionel Richie also took to Twitter to welcome his fellow American Idol judge to the first-time parents club. “Congratulations @KatyPerry, being a parent is one of the greatest joys life can bring! I’m so excited for you and Orlando to begin this journey! Wishing you both and #BabyCat Blossomall the best. Lots of love, Uncle Lionel!” the singer tweeted.
Perry’s bundle of joy arrives just days ahead of another labor of love — her fifth album Smile, which is set to be released Friday (Aug. 28) via Capitol Records.
