Pop/rocker Camryn’s strong voice and vibrant attitude are shining brighter than ever on her EP New Dynasty, released exclusively with Billboard.
The 16-year-old artist has made waves in pop music having toured with One Direction on 2012’s Up All Night Tour and 2013’s Take Me Home Tour. Camryn also opened for Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance’s Waiting 4U tour in 2011. Now, the pop artist is taking from her influences (including P!nk and Gwen Stefani) and merging pop and dance sounds with rock-based vocals.
“The New Dynasty EP is filled with strong, energetic songs that I want listeners to feel empowered by. It is a tribute to anyone who is striving to meet their goals and be legends in their own crafts. It took a lot longer to create than I had originally anticipated, because I really wanted it to showcase who I am as an artist and where I want to go sonically,” Camryn said.
The EP has five tracks: “Legends,” “Masquerade,” “Stadium,” “Ocean on Fire” and “Machines.” Each single takes from rock, pop and electronic beats, with “Ocean on Fire” having a dance/pop vibe and “Stadium” bringing in more rock elements.
