“Real friends,” she captioned the mix of pictures on social media, referencing her friendship with Mendes and the track off of her album Camila. The various snapshots show them hugging, chatting and posing together.
The pair’s love and respect for one another is no secret.
They recently shared emotional words (and, on Cabello’s part, tears) about their connection: “She’s my favorite person in the whole world,” Mendes said of Cabello in a Beats 1 interview with Zane Lowe, to which Cabello responded with “i shouldn’t be crying at this time in the morning but I AM” on Twitter.
Cabello and Mendes will both be performing at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live on May 20 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
