The show must go on, even when your sequined pants split on stage in front of a crowd of 20,000. Camila Cabello proved to be a pro at Z100’s Jingle Ball concert at Madison Square Garden, where she experienced a wardrobe malfunction during her performance yet didn’t miss a move — and then made fun of herself on Twitter the next morning.
“one of my fave things to do is rip my pants on stage mid-squat on stage at Madison square garden,” she wrote Saturday (Dec. 9).
When a fan tweeted proof of the incident, Camila responded, “i felt like spongebob in that one episode” and retweeted a clip of the cartoon scene she referenced. “had to hit the dance moves tho,” she said.
A couple hours later, the “Havana” singer — who performed the hit single at the New York City radio show, as well as “OMG” and new album track “Never Be the Same” — was apparently amused enough to share another photo from her set with the caption “me trying to look chill trying to cover up the fact that my pants just ripped mid squat at Madison square garden.”
