A little “Havana” early in the morning never hurt anyone, right?
That’s exactly what Camila Cabello treated fans to this morning (July 20) in New York City’s Central Park as a part of Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series. Letting her hair down and sporting a red skirt, Cabello served the crowd some of the biggest hits off of her debut album Camila, including “Never Be The Same,” “Consequences” and Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Havana.”
It’s going to be a long day for Cabello, as her early morning performance comes many hours before opening up for bestie Taylor Swift on her Reputation Tour stop tonight in East Rutherford, NJ.
In between songs, Cabello took the time to take pictures with fans, read posters and continually thank the #Camilizers for waiting to see her, some sleeping overnight outside Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield to get a front row spot. Fans weren’t disappointed, as Cabello showed off her party side with backup-dancer assisted choreography on “Havana,” and her more emotional side on “Consequences,” a ballad that took Cabello above the crowd on a large white piano adorned with roses and flowers. She closed out the morning with a performance of “In The Dark” as a special thank you to those who showed up bright and early.
