Calvin Harris and Rita Ora have officially broken up.
The Scottish producer confirmed the news Friday, tweeting: “To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.”
The status of the musical couple’s relationship recently came into question after Ora was seen hanging out with Justin Bieber and Harris spotted partying with another woman, according to E! News. Prior to their breakup, Harris and Ora had been spotted together on the red carpet at numerous events.

In May, Ora spoke with the Mirror about the challenges of a long-distance relationship. “You have to fly each other out, you just have to,” she said. “Sometimes you fly for 20 hours, sometimes you only fly for five hours. It’s an effort, but you make it work.

“I’m not a fan of long distance relationships,” Ora continued. “If you had a choice, you want that person with you. It makes me pretty sad. But you work with what you’ve got.”
Harris recently produced Ora’s sumptuous pop track “I Will Never Let You Down,” the new single from the 23-year-old British singer’s second album, which is scheduled for a worldwide release through Roc Nation/Columbia this summer.
