Britney Spears fans are eager to see the first version of her new “Make Me” video, which was reportedly scrapped for being overly sexual.
TMZ reports that photographer/director David LaChapelle created the original “Make Me” video, but that it was rejected for being too sexy. Spears’ team reportedly says the video was turned down because it had no story line. “Make Me” was ultimately remade by Randee St. Nicholas and released Friday (Aug. 5). Watch below.
When Spears fans caught wind of their being a possible second version, they launched a petition on Change.org, demanding that it be released.
“We ask that RCA Records/Sony Music Entertainment release the original video that was filmed by David Lachapelle for the song,” reads the letter, which had more than 10,000 signatures at press time.
