Lil Nas X has been unleashing one remix after another these last few months. His No. 1 hit “Old Town Road” shot to stardom after its re-vamping with Billy Ray Cyrus, and the world thought that was great in itself.
However, it didn’t end there. Lil Nas went on to release many more remixes, featuring unlikely pairings, like Young Thug and 12-year-old yodeler Mason Ramsey. Diplo hopped on the Cyrus version to put his own spin on things, and even RM of BTS dubbed his own version, called “Seoul Town Road.”

Finally, Lil Nas tweeted that “deep down inside I wanna release another remix,” earlier this month, to which Mariah Carey and Smash Mouth both responded to with enthusiasm, playfully saying they wanted to participate. While we still haven’t gotten a remix from either of them yet, the remixing did not stop for other artists.
