Baby Ariel recently dropped her bubblegum pop-inspired track “Perf,” which is clearly a hit with fans, as the song’s video has already garnered more than 5 million views on YouTube in just one week. While her fans indulge in her music, Baby Ariel wants to share her own musical indulgences and all of their pop goodness.
The Musical.ly star’s picks include essential jams that have stood out to her while creating her latest single. “I love real music, from real people, who don’t hold back who they are when they get creative,” Baby Ariel tells Billboard. “These are all artists who stand out, because they aren’t afraid to stand alone when they put out their music.”

Her playlist includes SZA’s breakout R&B hit “Supermodel,” Bruno Mars’ ‘90s-inspired hit “Finesse” (sans Cardi B) and Taylor Swift’s dreamy Reputation ballad “Call It What You Want.”
“They put themselves out there, they push the limits and try fresh things,” Ariel says of the artists she selected. “I love ’em for that.”
