Ariana Grande‘s empowering “Thank U, Next” anthem will be accompanied by a music video that is just as legendary, according to the singer herself.
Fans have speculated that the video will include iconic female movie characters, a claim that was further reinstated after Grande shared a series of photos of her as famous characters like Rachel MacAdams’ Regina George from Mean Girls and Reese Witherspoon’s Elle Woods from Legally Blonde.
“Super different from the rest but i think for many reasons this will probably be my favorite video i’ll ever do,” the 25-year-old tweeted on Tuesday (Nov. 20).
After a fan asked for more teasers like her movie-inspired Instagram photos, the pop star replied: “well technically u haven’t seen a teaser yet and i’ve spilled way too much already but it’ll be worth the wait i promise.”
