Arianators, the big reveal is here. Ariana Grande announced the Sweetener World Tour on Twitter Thursday (Oct. 25). A presale for American Express Card Members starts Thursday, Nov. 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time, through Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10:00 p.m. local time. International tour dates will also be announced soon.
It all began on Grande’s Twitter page, where she responded to a follower’s question on Oct. 24: “are u giving us dates tomorrow.” The answer: “yea tbh.” Grand also recently answered a fan on Twitter, writing that she was emotionally “ready” to return to touring and that she will announce dates as soon as she finalizes a couple things.
Sweetener started at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in August, for Ariana’s third chart-leader.
Grande has openly discussed her battles with anxiety. Her condition was sparked by the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017, which killed 22 people and injured 800-plus. She’s also coping with the breakup with her fiance Pete Davidson and dealing with the recent passing of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.
Check out Grande’s announcement below, and all of the Sweetener World Tour dates after the jump.
