Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd & More Earn iHeartRadio Titanium Awards for 1 Billion Spins in 2020

UPDATE: Songs by eight additional artists have joined the 1 Billion Spins Club in 2020. On Friday (Jan. 8), iHeartRadio announced a new batch of Titanium Award winners from last year, including three stars who add a second song to their trophy case. The eight new members are: Gabby Barrett and Charlie Puth (“I Hope”); DaBaby and Roddy Ricch (“Rockstar” together, as well as Ricch’s own “The Box”); Dua Lipa (“Break My Heart”); Harry Styles (“Watermelon Sugar”); Lewis Capaldi (“Before You Go”); and Maren Morris (“The Bones”). Lipa, Styles and Capaldi had already scored one Titanium Award-winning song last year, as you can see from the original story below.

In 2020, there were 29 stars who were particularly omnipresent on iHeartRadio stations, and they’ve all earned Titanium Awards for their songs that reached 1 billion spins.

A few of those performers notched multiple Titanium Award-winning songs this year, including Ariana Grande (“thank u, next” and “7 rings”), Drake (Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE” and Chris Brown’s “No Guidance”), Jonas Brothers (“Sucker” and “Only Human”), Khalid (“Talk” and “Better”), Lizzo (“Truth Hurts” and “Good as Hell”) and The Weeknd (“Blinding Lights” and “Heartless”). Then there were the truly ubiquitous artists — the only two to rack up three Titanium Award-winning songs in 2020: Post Malone with “Wow.,” “Circles” and “Sunflower,” featuring Swae Lee, and Shawn Mendes with “In My Blood,” “If I Can’t Have You” and the Camila Cabello duet “Señorita.”
