
Ariana Grande’s forthcoming album might not be called Moonlight after all.
Jimmy Kimmel managed to extract some details on Grande’s third album when she appeared overnight as a guest on his last night talk show.
When Grande initially shared “Focus” on the eve of Halloween last year, it was understood its parent album would be called Moonlight. Maybe not.

“A really long time ago I was convinced that it was going to be called Moonlight because its one of my favorite songs that we did for the album,” she explained. “And now, as we’re wrapping things up, of course I’ve been writing and singing, we’re at the final stretch…now there’s this other song that has thrown me for a whirlwind and I love it so much, it’s changed everything,” she said. Would she give the name of the track? Nope.
The singer also confessed her hero worship for the British artist Imogen Heap, discussed her “workaholic” personality and her grandma’s growing fame, and explained the history behind the name of her fanbase, the “Arianators.” And she pitched her own brand of cosmetics. Watch the clips below.
