What a perfect day it is for fans of Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke and Topic, as their “Perfect” collaboration was released Friday (Jan. 26).
The collaboration is the second for Brooke outside of Fifth Harmony, following up her collab with Lost Kings and A$AP Ferg on 2016’s “Look at Us Now” and it’s another jam. Brooke’s vocals soar as she sings about the power of acceptance for this radio-friendly pop tune crafted by German DJ Topic.
“There’s always going to be somebody smarter/ Someone prettier who works a little harder/ Someone that ain’t afraid to take it further/ And every time I feel like I ain’t really worth it/ Then you say I’m perfect,” she soulfully sings on the chorus to Topic’s masterfully crafted beat.
“This song has a message that is close to my heart. I hope you love it and I hope it speaks to you like it does to me,” Brooke shared with her fans on Twitter. Topic also released the music video for the pairs collaboration on his official YouTube channel.
