Adele announced Thursday (Oct. 22) that her highly anticipated new album 25 will drop Nov. 20, with lead single “Hello” premiering tomorrow. That’s right: We are less than 24 hours from new Adele music.
Yesterday, when speculation about an announcement first began heating up, Adele shared a note on her social media accounts talking about where she’s been since the release of 2011’s 21.
Adele Reveals Release Date, Tracklist for ’25’ Album
“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record,” she wrote in part. “I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.”
Alongside her announcement of a release date, an 11-song tracklist was also shared. Below is a highly unscientific exploration of what she may have in store.
Tracklist:
1. Hello
Fans have already gotten a sneak peek at this track with the lyrics, “I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet to go over everything. They say time’s suppose to heal ya but I ain’t done much healing.” Regret? Remorse? Healing? 30 seconds in and already we’re going to need some tissues.

2. Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
Just like in her smash “Someone Like You,” is Adele taking the high road? For an album that’s not being billed as a break-up album, it seems like we’re still going to get a ton of music about old loves. (Thank goodness.)

3. I Miss You

4. When We Were Young
Regrets…I have a few. With only knowing the title, it’s safe to say this tune could go either way — either a song of regret or, who knows, maybe a happy ditty about easy, young relationships. This might not be so bad, emotion-wise? Just kidding.

5. Remedy
Is this Adele’s getting up, moving on club banger? (Related, specific-to-Adele interpretation: Winning an Oscar has got to be a pretty good remedy for heartbreak.)

6. Water Under the Bridge
Together with “River Lea” we’re clearly getting to the water/bridge metaphor part of the album. You know what else relates to water? Tears.

7. River Lea
I Googled “River Lea,” and for those Americans who don’t know, it’s a river in England that originates in the Chiltern Hills before eventually meeting up with the River Thames. Something to do with washing away the past, perhaps?

Hold up. IS THIS ADELE’S SEX JAM?

9. Million Years Ago
This is going to be controversial and unexpected but…remembering an old relationship?

10. All I Ask
Quick question: Is Adele a Phantom of the Opera fan? Because that is what instantly popped into my head. Okay, probably not, but out of all the tracks on the album, the title of this one seems the most wide-open. Maybe it’ll be uplifting and fun? Give our tear ducts a brief break?

11. Sweetest Devotion
Beyonce ended her album with a love song to her child….is Adele going to go the same route with a ballad for new son Angelo?
