Billboard compiled five fast facts about the Daytime Emmy award-nominated actor who won her heart.
He’s an actor and no stranger to the Disney life.
Fans can recognize Ehrich as Fenmore Baldwin in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless or Hunter May in the CBS sci-fi mystery series Under the Dome, but like Lovato, he has Disney on his resume. The 29-year-old star was featured as a principal dancer on High School Musical 3: Senior Year back in 2008 and played Eddie in two episodes of Shake It Up back in 2010. Overall, Ehrich has scored four Daytime Emmy nominations for outstanding younger actor in a drama series for his work in The Young and the Restless.
Ehrich makes his own music and once teamed up with Rebecca Black for a Christmas jingle.
Last year, he recorded the singles “Somebody Else” and “Ride,” the latter from the Netflix original film Walk. Ride. Rodeo., which he also starred in as Tate Watkins. Back in 2016, he covered “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with the famed “Friday” singer. Ehrich even dedicated his cover of Coldplay‘s “Yellow” “4D,” according to his March 24-dated Instagram post. And the lucky girl he serenaded through the internet (hint hint Demi) sent a few heart emojis back.
Speaking of Christmas, Lovato was on his wishlist to Santa in 2011.
Ehrich manifested their love before day one. The day after Christmas in 2011, he took to Twitter to solemnly confess his dream present wasn’t waiting for him under the tree. “All I wanted for Christmas was Demi Lovato. #cantalwaysgetwhatyouwant….” Yes, yes you can. And the “Remember December” singer remembered that fateful December tweet on her Instagram story while they were dating, writing, “@maxehrich every Christmas? We love a little manifestation.”

He attended New York’s Professional Performing Arts School, which has some notable alumni.
It makes sense that an anthem about being coupled up in quarantine brought these two lovebirds out. Lovato and Ehrich shared a sweet kiss under a faux starry sky during the May 7-dated music video and really sealed their relationship status. “Happy to be a part of something so special right now. Like really REALLY happy if you can’t tell…” the 27-year-old singer wrote on her Instagram a day after their cameo, to which Ehrich wrote on his account, “my whole heart. #stuckwithu.” Congratulations to the happy couple who plan to still be stuck in love in the future!
