Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard will perform together live for the first time prior to the world premiere of Warner Bros.’ “The Dark Knight” on July 14.
The premiere will be held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square IMAX theater in New York.
The next day, the duo will sign copies of the “Dark Knight” soundtrack at
the Times Square Virgin Megastore, with an additional signing on July 16 in Los Angeles at Virgin’s Hollywood and Highland outpost.
It is the second time the two composers have teamed with director Christopher Nolan for a score; the first was for “Batman Begins” in 2005.
The soundtrack for “The Dark Knight” will go on sale on July 15, prior to the movie’s release on July 18.
